From Child Actor To Wrestling Coach

 

·         Acting Career

Jonathan Cronin, otherwise known as Jonny Cronin, has starred as a child actor in four of Disney's movies. He played the role of a protagonist in all of his movies. Jonathan Cronin leading role in these movies earned him recognition and respect. His films include “Horse Crazy” and three of the “Clubhouse” series, namely Clubhouse Detectives in Big Trouble, Clubhouse Detective in Search of a Lost Princess, and Clubhouse Detectives in a Scavenger Hunt. Linda Lang managed his acting career in Las Vegas, NV, and his agent William Morris in Los Angeles, CA. Jonny Cronin completed his Bachelor's Degree at Newberry College, majoring in Sports Management. Prior to that, in 2007, he was the state runner-up at Nevada High School.

 

·         College Wrestling

Jonny enjoyed wrestling and, soon after joining college, he took it up as his hobby and favorite sport. At Lassen College (Susanville, California) and Newberry College, he took part in College Wrestling and led his team as a college captain.

 

·         Awards in College Wrestling

During his captaincy, his team won awards in CACC, known for its third place in All American Wrestling State Championships. His college wrestling won him many team awards, such as back-to-back Big7 Conference Champs and Super Region 1 Champion. The Super Region 1 Champs were awarded to his team consecutively during 2009-12 for national runner-up. In addition to this, he won Individual awards; in particular, 3rd place in Super Region 1 and 2012 NCCA as a national qualifier. He was also a record holder in tournaments throughout college, such as math tournaments, where he scored the most points.

 

·         Professional Wrestling Coach

Following his enthusiasm for wrestling, he took it up as a professional career and became the assistant coach at Durango High School in 2015-16. During his coaching, he brought back the first winning season in 10 years. He has also offered private coaching sessions for beginners and advanced wrestling contenders.

 

·         Hobbies

Jonny Cronin is also passionate about his hobbies. He has played softball on sponsorship by Team America and won many tournaments, allowing him to travel around the country. Johnathan has also participated in many of the softball world tournaments in Seattle (WA), Las Vegas (NV), and Orlando (FL).

 

·         Part-time Bartending

Jonny has also tried his shot as a bartender at Newberry South CA, where he was Lead Bartender. In addition, he has bartended at The Palm (Newberry, SC), Caddy Shack (Union Town, PA), Wellington Place and Marche Bacchus (Las Vegas, NV).
