Preschool Warwick Farm

 

Warwick Farm Preschool is a warm, child-orientated Centre and we promote each child’s physical, social, intellectual, and language development. The Preschool operates in the Warwick Farm Public School Community Centre. Our staff is qualified and experienced teachers Preschool operates on a five-day program during weekdays with Vacation Care available during school holidays.

At Warwick Farm Child Care Centre our teachers provide an early childhood education program based on stimulating children’s developmental needs. We offer both centre and home-based programs.

The program includes Drama, Sports, Science, and Special Friends including School and Home visits, Music, and Arts activities. Our curriculum promotes the whole child, with a strong emphasis on academic outcomes while providing a warm, nurturing environment to promote healthy development.

Our program is designed to support children in individual and group learning, with an emphasis on acquiring language and developing literacy skills. Our curriculum promotes each child’s development of social competence, self-sufficiency, a positive outlook and appreciation for achievement. The Preschool provides care for children from six weeks to five years as well as before and after school care for primary school students.

We love seeing the excitement in a child’s eyes as they walk into Preschool, especially on their first day. We think that our kids really become part of the family at this time, as we help them grow in every possible way. Whether it’s going on a nature walk or making music together, we believe in learning through play and are intentional about teaching the children to be self-confident, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.

Our Preschool offers a bright, light-filled place for you and your child to integrate into the Warwick Farm family. Our program promotes language and numeracy development, as well as developing nurturing relationships between children and teachers. We provide an environment where we can listen to our children and respond to their needs.’

The Warwick Farm Preschool is a positive, encouraging, and happy preschool, where our teachers work hard to build a trusting relationship with your child. We develop preschoolers' social skills and provide opportunities for them to learn about themselves and their world through play.

At joey’s Cottage we aim to help children to develop a healthy relationship with food and eating. This is achieved through classroom role modelling, limiting the availability of ‘sometimes’ foods, teaching the benefits of a variety of foods and drinks and the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating plate.
